What a nice site. Now it could only get better if you had all those nice x-mas videos available for download. I can still recall some classics from the late 70's including camera three doing 'many strokes to the minute' plus a rather irreverent Dalek......

Brilliant site! Particularly interested because Central Area and VT/Telecine staff would frequently meet for coffee or a meal in the Canteen so we became friends with many of them. I was sad to hear of the death of Don Kershaw. He taught me how to load a Cintel machine for Andy Pandy!

What an amazing collection of the history of television! I too can just remember the Panorama broadcast, never dreaming that one day I would actually be working in television.
Thank you so much for keeping history live!

What a fascinating website. I never worked at the Beeb, although I did apply for an assistant VT Editor job around 1984.

  This is a great site.

I was a sponsored engineering student with VT Engineering (Shift 2!) from 1989-92. I think I was the first girl... then a full time lady called Roz something came along, and Sarah Bradley (who remains a good friend of mine). Is there a similar site for the VT Engineers?

Other people I remember from VT Engineering, are Bill Bulford (taught me all I needed to know" about tra "nsistors), S" teve Cla rke ", Steve Ro" "berts, M" ike Wea ve "r, Roby" n ? "," Cli ve ? ", T" im ? ", Ton" y Foster ", Mike Bu" tt ers (sadly gon e now I th in k) ", Tim" ?.. . What gre at da ys.
